Cancellation / refund policy
Termination of Whistler Sea Wolves Swim Club membership in writing prior to or within the first week of a new session for any first-time club member will be completed with a pro-rata refund, excluding Swim BC fees and an administration fee of $50.00.
No other refunds are available to either first-time or returning club members after the first week of a new session unless it is due to:
illness or injury, in which case a partial refund may be granted at the Board's discretion, upon presentation of a medical letter by a physician explaining the reason for termination, or
if the Athlete and his/her Family relocates out of the Sea-to-Sky area.
Both of these refunds are only available within the first half of each season and will be completed with a pro-rata refund, excluding Swim BC fees and an administration fee of $50.00.
Please keep in mind that the number of kids we can register is limited by the amount of pool time we have been granted and by availability of coaching staff, and it is possible that we may not be able to accommodate everyone who is interested. Some groups may be close to full just with returning swimmers.
Swim BC Fee
The Swim BC fee needs to be paid only once per swimming season (September to June).
For Development and Peformance swimmers:
When you register your child in our Development or Performance swim programs, you will be required to pay Swim BC’s pre-competitive fee ($52.00 for 2025-2026). This fee is mandatory for all swimmers. It covers your Swimming Canada registration and insurance for your athlete as well as our club and coaches.
These swimmers are allowed to attend Pass Meets and one sanctioned meet per season. Swimmers who attend more than one sanctioned meet per season must upgrade to Swim BC’s Competitive status. Our Administrator will bill you ($112.50) when you enter your child in their second sanctioned meet of the season.
For Competitive Focus swimmers:
When you register your child in our Competitive Focus swim program, you will be required to pay the Swim BC’s competitive fee ($164.50 for 2025-2026). This fee is mandatory for all swimmers. It covers your Swimming Canada registration and insurance for your athlete as well as our club and coaches.
These swimmers are allowed to attend an unlimited number of sanctioned meets per season
