Our Board of Directors
The Sea Wolves is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, supported by a paid Administrator.
If you are interested in volunteering, please register your interest below.
There are also opportunities throughout the season to volunteer at swim meets and other events.
2025-2026 Board of Directors
President: Ota Hally
Ota began helping out at Sea Wolves meets and events to enjoy watching his two sons swim in the club. He completed the “Stroke and Turn” judge training in 2022 and his kids' enthusiasm rubbed off on him and prompted him to join the Board in 2023. Ota comes from a competitive triathlon background and spends most of his time mountain biking and skiing.
Vice President: Michelle Brown
Michelle grew up doing a lot of team sport and preferred that. Sharliz, as a baby, loved the water and joining the club and being around the team made her like swimming even more.
Treasurer: Irina Andrus
Irina’s kids have developed a love of swimming since joining the Whistler Sea Wolves. Irina joined the Board in 2023 to help further this impressive club’s goals.
Registrar: Elissa Maclennan
Elissa’s two girls have been part of the club since 2018, and she joined the board in 2024. The girls enjoy practice with friends, seeing their swimming improve and travelling to the meets.
Secretary: Suzy Bates
Suzy prefers dry land to water but has three daughters who have swum with the Sea Wolves and she is grateful for the very positive impact the club has had on her kids.
Member at Large: David Higgins
Member at Large: Drea Morin
A lifelong water enthusiast, Drea began her aquatic journey as an artistic swimmer, competing at the national level in her youth. Her passion for swimming has come full circle—now cheering from the pool deck as her son trains with the Whistler Swim Club and makes the most of every minute in the water.
When not at the pool, Drea works with children at a local school in Whistler, helping young learners grow with curiosity and confidence. She’s thrilled to bring her love of sport, community and teamwork to the Swim Club’s board, supporting the next generation of swimmers—and having a little fun along the way.
