Hollyburn Invitational Swim Meet

Note about meet fees

Please note that once an athlete commits to a meet, the meet fees become due and payable to the club and can not be reversed and/or refunded unless:

  1. The swimmer cancels prior to WSWSC’s sign-up deadline for the meet, or

  2. If the meet is cancelled by the organizers or our participation in the meet is cancelled due to lack of interest, or

  3. If there is a medical issue, and the athlete meets the hosting club's specific rules for a refund.

 

Date: Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, 2026

Saturday Prelims:
Warm-ups: 8-8:50am, Competition: 9am-1:30pm

Saturday Finals:
Warm-ups: 4-4:50pm, Competition: 5-7:30pm

Sunday Prelims:
Warm-ups: 8-8:50am, Competition: 9am-1:30pm

Sunday Finals:
Warm-ups: 3-3:50pm, Competition: 4-6:30pm

Eligibility: LMR+ swimmers. Swimmers will be limited to six (6) individual events plus one (1) relay per relay event.

Format: All 50-200m events will be swum as heats and finals. 400m events will be timed finals at the end of the morning session. Relays will be timed finals in the afternoon session.

Cost: Entry fee of $15.00 per individual event as well as a $5.00 Swim BC Competition Surcharge plus a WSWSC Competition Fee of $30-$75 per swimmer (the more swimmers that attend, the lower the competition fee). Swim BC Fee competitive upgrade: If you have not already paid the competitive Swim BC fee and your swimmer has already competed in one sanctioned meet this season (September to June), you will be billed for the difference before your swimmer can be entered into the meet.

Sign-up Deadline (N.B. Meet fees become non-refundable at this time): 6pm on Thursday, April 30, 2026

N.B. As a general rule, we need at least five swimmers to sign up for a meet in order for the club to attend, however this does not always apply to Championship meets (Divisionals, Provincials, etc.)

Tips for Hollyburn Swim Meets

  • Parking at Hollyburn fills up fast. Get there early.

  • There is a cafe on the upper level with sandwiches, sushi, coffee, etc.

  • There is an enclosed viewing area above the pool and next to the ice rink. Sometimes there are bleachers on the pool deck for spectators.

  • Get the Meet Mobile app.
