Hollyburn April Development Swim Meet

Note about meet fees

Please note that once an athlete commits to a meet, the meet fees become due and payable to the club and can not be reversed and/or refunded unless:

  1. The swimmer cancels prior to the meet entry deadline, or

  2. If the meet is cancelled by the organizers or our participation in the meet is cancelled due to lack of interest, or

  3. If there is a medical issue, and the athlete meets the hosting club's specific rules for a refund.

 

Date: Sunday April 27, 2025

Warm-up: 3:30-3:55 pm

Racing: 4:00-7 pm

Eligibility: This meet is intended for swimmers who have not achieved their LMR qualifying times. Swimmers are limited to 3 individual events and a relay.

Cost: $25 Entry fee per swimmer plus a WSWSC Competition Fee of $30-$75 per swimmer (the more swimmers that attend, the lower the competition fee).

Sign-up Deadline: 5pm on Sunday, April 20, 2025

Location: Hollyburn Country Club (** When entering the pool, all guests must park in guest parking and must come to the pool entrance at the pool side of the building. **)

Tips for Hollyburn Swim Meets

  • Parking at Hollyburn fills up fast. Get there early.

  • There is a cafe on the upper level with sandwiches, sushi, coffee, etc.

  • There is an enclosed viewing area above the pool and next to the ice rink. Sometimes there are bleachers on the pool deck for spectators.

  • Get the Meet Mobile app.

N.B. As a general rule, we need at least five swimmers to sign up for a meet in order for the club to attend, however this does not always apply to Championship meets (Divisionals, Provincials, etc.)
