Chena Development Swim Meet

Note about meet fees

Please note that once an athlete commits to a meet, the meet fees become due and payable to the club and can not be reversed and/or refunded unless:

  1. The swimmer cancels prior to WSWSC’s sign-up deadline for the meet, or

  2. If the meet is cancelled by the organizers or our participation in the meet is cancelled due to lack of interest, or

  3. If there is a medical issue, and the athlete meets the hosting club's specific rules for a refund.

 

Date: Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 2-6 p.m.

Eligibility: Gold, Silver, and Bronze swimmers

Format: Timed finals for all events.

Meet Fees: $15 meet fee per swimmer, $3 per individual event, plus a WSWSC Competition Fee of $30-$75 per swimmer (the more swimmers that attend, the lower the competition fee).

*The total per swimmer will likely fall in the range of $65-$100 per day but could be higher. Refer to the meet package, our detailed explanation of Meet Fees, or talk to the Head Coach if you have questions.

Sign-up Deadline (N.B. Meet fees become non-refundable at this time): 5pm on Wednesday, December 6, 2023

Tips for Chena Swim Meets

  • There is not much parking and you need to be early to get one or you will have to park on the side of the road

  • Bring your own camping chair to watch—they have very tiny bleachers for spectators, and they are mostly used by visiting teams.

  • Get the Meet Mobile app.

N.B. As a general rule, we need at least five swimmers to sign up for a meet in order for the club to attend, however this does not always apply to Championship meets (Divisionals, Provincials, etc.)
